Help define and shape the future of Open Innovation in Agri-Tech
Identify collaborative opportunities that will be key to your organisation
Network with decision makers in industry, academia and government
The online discussion platform for pre- and post-event discussion around the issues you are facing
Interact with your peers and find innovative solutions together
Parallel workshops to allow you to work collaboratively and come up with solutions to the challenges being faced
As part of the development team behind the launch of the very first annual Rothamsted Open Innovation Forum, I would like to welcome you to this site. We hope you are reading this because you share our commitment to finding solutions to some of the key global food security challenges.
We have all heard the figures on population growth, the limitations on yield, the nutritional challenges and so on. I will leave it to you to read these elsewhere. This forum is about action.
With your involvement, we aim to do two things:
- Discover an effective way that we can come together to start tackling these challenges by opening up and thereby accelerating the innovation process.
- Bring potential collaborators together from across backgrounds, to begin that process.
Please have a look around the website, contribute to the online blackboard and be part of what we are sure will be a stimulating and action-oriented event, located here in our world class conferencing facilities at Rothamsted near London at Rothamsted Research, the oldest agricultural research institute in the world.
I look forward to meeting you all in January.
